Migrated a conflict-management training business off Webflow to a fast Next.js 16 + Payload CMS site with a custom WebGL hero.
The problem
Currents, a conflict-management and de-escalation training business founded by a former police detective, was on Webflow: slow, hard to extend, and capped on the motion and composition the brand wanted. They needed a faster, cleaner site they could still edit themselves.
What was built
A Next.js 16 marketing site carrying the validated 'Undercurrent / Waves' brand forward, with a full-bleed WebGL fragment-shader hero (cursor-reactive, with reduced-motion and no-WebGL fallbacks for AA accessibility). Content is editable through Payload CMS running inside the same app, backed by Supabase Postgres and S3-compatible media storage. Contact form delivers via Resend.
My role
Design port, build, CMS modelling, and deploy.
Outcome
Live on Vercel with editor-managed content, native motion, and a WCAG 2.1 AA-verified hero. Faster and cleaner than the Webflow original without a rebrand.
